The Pilgrimage of Our Lady of Agony is Viana do Castelo's largest and most emblematic festival, and in 2024 it promises to be grander than ever. This year, the festival takes place from August 14th to 22nd, with a poster designed by Blisq, a local communications company. Gabriela Morais Sampaio, this year's steward, wears the traditional red farmhand costume, representing the parish of Carreço.
